My experience at leading animal feed companies has also given me a strong business perspective . This enables me to turn strategic or abstract ideas into a concrete action plan with clear commercial objectives .

With my creativity and people-focused approach, I connect individuals, teams, organizations and institutions. I build bridges where others sometimes struggle to look beyond their own perspective.

About me

For over 20 years, I worked in Research & Development at several companies related to the agri sector. At Schothorst Feed Research, I learned the essence of good research: how to turn a customer’s question into a focused research question, and how the quality of execution is crucial for delivering reliable results. Just as important, I learned how to translate complex data into clear, practical advice for the sector.

At Agrifirm, I discovered that knowledge on its own has limited value — its true value lies in how it is applied, understood and shared. It is the connection between research, practice and the market that makes innovation truly effective.

Later, as Director of Nutrition at De Heus Animal Nutrition, I had the opportunity to lead the department where knowledge and expertise come together. There, I learned just how crucial it is to connect research to business strategy. Many organisations know what they want to achieve, but not always how to get there. Turning strategic goals into concrete research themes, a widely supported agenda and inspiring collaboration proved to be the key to success.

That experience now forms the foundation of InTunes Projects. With a people-focused and creative approach, I help companies, knowledge institutions and consortia turn their ideas into feasible, high-impact research projects. I connect people, strategies and interests so that projects move beyond plans and deliver tangible results.

You may be wondering why I chose this slogan?

The slogan “Moving forward in tune together” is rooted in my passion for singing. As a singer, I know that music only comes to life when the right notes come together. On their own, notes are simply sounds, but when they blend in harmony, they create connection, emotion and momentum — something that truly resonates with people.

That same principle lies at the heart of my work at InTunes Projects. In complex research projects, too, success depends on finding the right tone: aligning interests, connecting people and creating a shared rhythm in which everyone makes their own contribution.

When that balance is right, progress follows — not because one party takes the lead, but because everyone is committed to moving forward in tune, together.
